Metallica, Limp Bizkit, Foos Featured on
"Mission: Impossible 2"
Metallica, Limp Bizkit, Godsmack and the Foo
Fighters are among the heavyweights on the
Mission: Impossible 2 soundtrack, which is due in
stores May 9. Metallica's "I Disappear" is the first
single and will hit radio April 20, while the video
will premiere on MTV May 8. Limp Bizkit is doing
their part with a take on the "Mission: Impossible"
theme called "Take a Look Around," available for a
preview through the film's website at
http://64.45.25.34/download/limpbizkit/.
Meanwhile, the Foo Fighters and Brian May are at
work on a cover of the Pink Floyd song "Have a
Cigar," a tune the Foos had previously covered but
was only available as an import. New tracks from
Chris Cornell ("Mission 2000") and Godsmack
("Going Down") are also featured on the album, as
well as the Kid Rock-produced track from Uncle
Kracker called "What U Lookin' At?"
