Metallica to Tour With Korn, Kid
Rock
After weeks of rumors, Metallica have made
their tour plans official. The metal men have
put together a hard rock dream team -- Korn,
Kid Rock, System of a Down and Powerman
5000 -- to tour arenas, stadiums and
speedways with them this summer. Only nine
dates have been announced so far, but more
are expected. Meanwhile, the band's video for
"I Disappear," the first single from the Mission:
Impossible 2 soundtrack, debuts on MTV on
May 8.
The first batch of confirmed dates for the
Metallica tour is as follows:
6/30: Foxboro, MA, Foxboro Stadium
7/3: St. Louis, MO, Gateway International
Speedway
7/7: Atlanta, GA, Georgia Dome
7/8: Sparta, KY, Kentucky Speedway
7/9: Dallas, TX, Texas Stadium
7/12: Denver, CO, Mile High Stadium
7/14: San Francisco, CA, 3 Com Park
7/15: Los Angeles, CA, Coliseum
7/20: East Rutherford, NJ, Giants Stadium
